It is not normal for me to write a blog asking for help with something but I am doing it now. Please help if any of this makes sense to you.
For a little over a week now I have had these never ending headaches that are horrible. I thought it was my sinuses I have tried Sinus medications, Excedrin, Tylenol and Motrin. I don't have any other symptoms but it hurts so bad behind my eyes at first and then travels to my temples and across the forehead. Some days I get nauseated and others just very sensitive to light. This has been happening everyday for over a week. I used to get migraines a year before being diagnosed with MS and then they went away. Most of them would hurt in my jaw also and these are not. So I am not sure if it is a migraine or not. I am not on any new medications so that's not the issue. I just can't believe a migraine can last over a week coming on everyday. I hate to try to relate this with MS but I just want to see if anyone else gets these and what it is??? I thought about getting my eyes checked but don't know if I should do that or call the doctor. My vision seems fine. I don't know what optic neuritis does but I would assume my vision would be blurry. Any Suggestions??
Living with Multiple Sclerosis is a daily battle. MS is the invisible disease or at least for most people. We fight many emotional and physical symptoms all the time. We need as much support as we can get. However due to the invisible symptoms we tend to not get a lot of support and that brings on more emotional stress which in return brings on more MS symptoms. A Vicious cycle.

I have been getting migraines lately. In the past, my only triggers was MSG and fabric softener which is easy to avoid. I do get them now on a regular basis if I don't eat regularly. If I skip a meal, I get a migraine that can last hours if not overnight.
I don't take over the counter medications, so I don't know what I would take if I did.
I with I had more info for you!
I've been getting a lot of constant headaches/migraines. They've been really bad...sometimes they just take everything out of me. Mine always start above my left eye...right above my eyebrow...then the pain spreads and usually ends up in the back of my head above my neck. There is a lot of pressure as well.
I don't see the MS specialist until January but my regular doctor gave me some samples of a migraine medication that has been AMAZING. Unfortunately, he said they're very expensive. It's called Frova, though, if you want to look into it. I've had zero side effects...it just takes the pain away.
I used to get headaches so bad -- like a dagger was jabbing me in the head. I haven't had ones like that for a while.
Could it be seasonal, allergies? Have you tried an antihistamine, Benadryl, etc.? My husband has been getting really bad headaches lately because of this.
Not drinking enough water? Too much caffeine? I find that if I drink a glass of water before my cup of coffee in the morning I feel much better. Sometimes I get a headache if I don't
Could it be hormonal?
Hope you feel better soon!
YES!! Directly above my right eye. I thought it was above my eyebrow, but when I go to touch the spot that hurts, I end up touching right where my eyebrow meets my nose...all the way down to a little lower than my eyebrow. I feel like if I could just take a punch press and punch out about a 1/2 dollar size circle right there on my face, then I could get rid of the pain, even though it's in my head, behind my eye.
I suffer from migraines and these are different. I've also had optic neuritis and this is different. Optic Neuritis makes your vision blurry or other eye symptoms.
These have been coming & going (more coming) for about 4 weeks now. I have no suggestions for you (sorry), I just wanted to you to know that you're not the only person with MS who is suffering from this odd symptom. Good luck!!
